In the Upstairs Gallery was “Phenomena,” works by Amanda Tomasikiewicz. Amanda works mostly in pencil and charcoal and her favorite subject is insects drawn larger than life. Much larger than life. “Insects unique coloration, form, patterning and diversity are what interest me, says the twenty-three year old Alfred University graduate. “Because insects are small their elaborate details tend to go unnoticed. My drawings are large scale to reveal their multifaceted characteristics. Amanda is currently studying be a medical illustrator and was recently accepted by several universities.

Triple Opening Reception for all shows was held on March 14. The Winery at Marjim Manor hosted a wine tasting.

Gallery space is available to rent for artist shows or community exhibitions.
