In the Upstairs Gallery was “Going Green, the Recycled Media Art Show,” by the Barker Portfolio Students of Barker Schools.  Melissa Bowman, the student’s art teacher, says that they wanted to do something in connection with Earth Day: “The idea is to promote going green by creating art that only consists of recycled material.”  Students in the Portfolio class create a portfolio of their artwork for college preparation, as well as, collaborate on school and community art projects.

Opening Reception was Saturday, April 10 from 5pm to 8pm

Gallery space is available to rent for artist shows or community exhibitions.
