Barker Artist Dody Walter poses with one of her works in her one woman show, “A Painter’s Strokes of Nature.”

In the Downstairs Gallery was “A Painter’s Strokes of Nature,” Watercolors by Dody Walter.  Growing up in Western New York imbued Dody with a deep appreciation for the beauty and variety of the local landscape.  She also credits the influence of her grandfather, (the late artist James Connelly) with her early love of nature and gift of artistry.  Dody is a signature member of the Niagara Frontier Watercolor Society and a frequent juror of invitational shows and events.  Her work has been exhibited in numerous venues and private collections.

Opening Reception was on Saturday, June 19th with a wine tasting by Niagara Landing Winery.
