"Deck the Halls has become an annual tradition for us, it has always been one of our more popular shows," says Sally Bisher, a Director at the art center. "It is not a themed show, which means there is a greater diversity of artistic styles and techniques for people to enjoy, but mostly I think it just helps people get into the holiday spirit."
Since people are looking for gifts the Holiday Show is an “off the wall,” exhibition. Normal custom for art galleries is that a purchased piece of art work from an exhibition remains on the wall until the end of the show so that other patrons may enjoy the work. An off the wall show allows the buyer to take the work home immediately.

The Market Street Art Center opened its annual holiday show, “Deck the Halls,” as part of the 2010 Holiday Art Trail (November 20th and 21st).
As part of that holiday spirit the art center hosted a number of events over the weekend including carolers from “Scrooge the Musical” and Photos with Santa on Saturday and live music by Northcoast on Sunday.
