Upstairs and the Third Gallery

“Our member’s shows are always popular because it features a wide variety of talent, styles, media and themes,” says Sally Bisher, a director at the art center.  “It’s a microcosm of the artistic talent we have in Western New York.”

The show was judged by Karl Heerdt, an award winning artist from Western New York.

• First Place - George Borrelli for his metal sculpture “Warrior.” 

• Second Place - Kathleen Giles for “Stone Stairs, Letchworth,” a watercolor. 

• Third Place - Dennis Scherer’s “Season Three,” an acid treated copper piece

• Honorable Mentions went to Lawrence Plant for “Body Modification: 2020" (mixed media), Brigitte Shackleton for “Gulf" (raku pottery), Dennis Stierer for “Cross Over Island Lighthouse" (Black & White Photography) and Barbara Tanke for “Reclining Nude 2" (Pencil).

Opening reception was held Saturday, September 11th. There was wine tasting hosted by The Winery at Marjim Manor.

Gallery space is available to rent for artist or community exhibitions.
