In the Downstairs Gallery was “Metalworks,” works by Dennis Scherer.  Dennis, from Clarence Center, started training as a sheet metal journeyman in the 1970’s.  He first explored the art of copper enameling in the 90’s and that got his artistic juices flowing.  His work with copper and galvanized sheet metal led him down a creative road that led to using acrylic paints on galvanized metal and eventually to his own technique of acid treated copper.  His work has appeared in several shows in Western New York.

Gallery space is available to rent for artist or community exhibitions.
